How Does Your Garden Grow

The raddiishes are red, the carrots are orange
The peppers green, yellow, and red
How does your garden grow asked the nosey neighbor
It was said that he killed his wife with a fork and knife and buried her body in the vegetable garden
No remains were found only a fork stuck in a potatoe head
What is interesting is that each garden season in the summer the old man next door
Has the biggest tomatoes, turnips, cabbage, and that
And he invites the street to a hog roast and all the grub you can eat
No one ever shows up but the sound of flies cover the roast
It has been a mystery for sure, and some swear that the roast hog is his old lady they host
Not to mention the cucumber vines on the fence
Hang in a cursive writingĀ spell out her name, Hilda across the lattuceĀ
How does your garden grow, is the question?
Take heed from the garden you eat
