Exactly! They are trying to build things on the moon and send people to Mars .... but the problems on Earth continue ... There's junk from old satellites and things orbiting as we speak. Plus, they forget that other beings may live on these other planets and may not take kindly to overly wealthy narcissists showing up and trying to occupy their homes.
