How To Disappear Completely

To withdraw oneself is not so bad,
Checking out and clocking off.
There shall be no farewells,
There shall be no goodbyes,
To simply exit is enough.

To not want to play is not a crime,
It demonstrates an understanding.
There shall be no truths,
There shall be no lies,
A step aside from life's demandings.

To remain alone is the hardest part,
The broken heart can do it neatly.
There may be longings,
There may be tears,
But you will have disappeared completely.
