I Am

I am scared and lonely
I wonder why I am here
I hear voices in my head
I see images that aren't really there
I want to start my life over again
I am scared and lonely
I pretend that I am someone else
I feel unloved
I touch my broken heart
I worry about the mistakes that I have made
I cry about my life
I am scared and lonely
I understand that I am me
I say that one day things will be better
I dream of things to come
I try to imagine my future
I hope that things work out for me
