I AM A NAIL
Like 9 Pin it 4I AM A NAIL IN
BOX ON THEĀ
SHELF YOUĀ
COME ALONGĀ
AND BUY ME
YOU BUILDED
HOUSE YOUĀ
HAMMER MEĀ
IN THE FLOOR BY
THE DOORĀ WHERE
I SIT FOR 100 YEARSĀ
EVERY TIME THE DOOR
OPENS PEOPLE WALK
ON ME AND IT RAINS AND
THE SNOW GET ME WETĀ
A 100 YEARSĀ GOES BY AND HEARĀ
THEY MAY REMODELĀ
THIS OLD HOUSE SO TAKE MEĀ
UP AND PUT MEĀ IN PILE IN THE
CORNER WHERE ALL THE OTHER
BENT NAILS ARE NOW I AM JUST
NOTHER OLD BENT NAIL ON
MY WAY TO NAIL HEAVENĀ
I WAS NAIL IN THE FLOOR
BY THE DOORĀĀ
