I Just Met A Clerihew
Dedicated to Cosmo’s wonderful poet Shirley Rebstock
.
This morning I read a comment, from a lady who is “Tres Astute”;
She informed me of a poetic genre, I could use with mine to boot!
The name of it’s a “Clerihew”, and it is a form of humored verse;
Telling about a famous person, pointing out things they did adverse!
.
This illustrates the beauty of Cosmofunnel, one learns on here each day;
And makes friends from around the world, that never go away!
So thank you Shirley Rebstock, for improving my repertoire;
I’m so honored now to know you, new friends we truly are!

I just met someone
Who showed me their kind heart
New friend forever
.

OH my goodness, you truly have a way with words. I mean that sincerely, not just because you thanked me in a poem. This was really sweet. Actually, I am not that astute, I learned it from someone else. It is kind of fun to do them.

My Dear Brother Tony,
Thank you Tony. Just by conversing with her, I found her to be a sweet gentle soul, and felt one of those instant connections. I am hoping that by dedicating this poem to her, more people on Cosmo will read her lovely works. You roll Bro!......Why don't we get together and form a "rock" and "roll" duet.
