Ice Covered Waters

Life with its glorious movements in time and space it swims away

Like fish beneath the waters and the moss below the rocks they freeze

Ice covered waters of living breathing things so beautiful and innocent

They stay so calm below the many depths of the earths sand and marble rock and shell

Almost death, they breathe no more until they thaw and come back to life awaken from their sleepy spell

It's magical and mystical the scales upon their body, their cold blooded not warm like us

But creatures of the earth that be swim long swim hard and then stand still for winter time

Will heal your wounds and spring will set you free once more to live and love in the waves

While the polar bears wait anxiously to play with thee under the frozen waters of time
