Poem -

If I could disappear.

If I could disappear.

If I wasn't here,
I don't think I'd be missed.
Probably be a favour,
For those who dismiss.

If I weren't around,
The world would keep turning,
The sun would still rise,
And it's flames still burning.

If I weren't alive,
If I couldn't be seen,
I wouldn't have to hide,
My face in false screen.

If I disappeared.....

No more pain and hurt,
No more broken promises,
No more reminders of failure,
No more anxiety,

No more pain.

No more pain.

No more pain.

Just perfect silent bliss,
A loud quiet of peace,
A comfortable void of empty fullness.

Excellent poem Lucy. "A loud quiet of peace". Great line. I would imagine that a lot of people would be able to relate to this one.

What I say often though is that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
I know this poem isn't to be taken literally though. Take care - Syd xo
