I'd carry you with the scent of the ocean's air                                      

I'd caress your face, I'd tossle your hair

If I could be the RAIN:  

I'd fall like pedals upon your face

I'd shower you with kisses and a warm embrace

If I could be a RAINBOW:

I'd color your world

I'd give you roses of every color, unfurled

If I could be the SUN:

I'd surround you with my light

I'd chase away the sadness of your dark, lonely night

But I can't be the wind, the rain, a rainbow or the sun

If only I could, I most certainly would
