Important Roles

He gets off work to go home to a clean house and hot dinner
He works hard to hold his place as the main breadwinner
She has the roles of teacher, chef, maid, taxi driver, and much more
Seems like the only thing he sees is her trips to the store
He gets credit for working so hard to pay all the bills
She gets blamed for spending money for her own thrills
He clocks out on Friday to make plans with his friends
She stays home with the kids cause her job never ends
Why can't the lady get credit for all her important roles in life
Most especially the stay at home mom and dedicated wife
How would he get through if she was nowhere around
To raise the kids, clean the house and keep solid ground
His job is very important, don't get me wrong
But without her, then where would he really belong
