Fill the cup with wisdoms broken teeth

Until the floor opens and swallows our souls

Into the depths of obscurity

Or, file away the cobwebs of sleep

Unfurl the blanket of ignorance

Open blinded eyes by letting in light

To chase away doubts and demons

Grit the teeth in frustration

And acknowledge the unseen decay

Leak the knowledge of accepting this

Into the lengths of hollow halls

Then walk upon the rhythmic step

Of progressive sophistication

Acquiring light and eventual becoming
