Into Eden

In a dream God took me back to where it all began,
amongst an Eden paradise, before any earthly man.
I felt his presence linger as I walked upon his shore,
and wondered why he sent me on this journey of before?
He embraced me with this essence as the breeze took in the scent
and then I watched the flowers bloom as Angels came and went.
On stepping stones I walked across a crystal flowing stream,
the either side of heaven or rather something in between.
The long ago had taken hold, I felt the instant glow,
as shooting stars touched daylight, falling into my tomorrow.
I strayed upon a sunset, it was the world that took my view.
and felt the drop of Gods own tear, showering everything he knew.
He handed me his blessing as the light began to dim,
had shown me the what could of been, before man began to sin.
