Poem -

Irreversible damage.

Irreversible damage.

Sharp objects cast shadows in vision,
Rigid greys pressing against reality,

Painful distort of human function,
As 3 am moments tug on mortality.

One step infront of the other,
Humonid figures march in madness,

In corridors that gather to greet one another,
Talking heads upon alien grotesque.

Extraneous vibrations fizzle compliance,
My hands in sight are forgien,

Falling kadaver to engage with other lives,
My blue lips chatter ok lies.

I'm fine, dear people of earth,
Nothing here to concern your skipping hearts,

Just a faulty battery clogged with thought
Please prop up with mundane conversation.

This has all the elements of a disturbing nightmare, the kind that feels so real that life seems to be the dream and you wonder what awaits you when you die x

My life has been a disassociative dream state, never feeling real, everything in this poem is exactly how I feel. I hide it well, presenting me as another human but it's all lies, it's always been lies Marion,  thank you for your precious time. X

This is just too sad for me. Can you please fix the faulty battery?
I am sure it can be fixed. C'mon Nine Eleven, grab some tools...
hope, determination, defiance. Here is one for you:
He stands in the fierce rain, in defiance, his burning eyes pierce through the invisible glass. He's stronger than he thinks.

Hi Bernadette. Thank you for your words of encouragement.

My disassociation is a coping mechanism, formed from the fires of my childhood,  it will never leave me.

I feel sadness, i cant stop thinking about all the children who are being mistreated , no amount of therapy can help, I've tried, for years.

Kids who suffer at the hands of hateful men and women,  it burns my throat. Electrifying my muscles. Every day I wish for the destruction of mankind just to end the hurt.

I feel justified to be a part of the end.

I send lots of love your way. If you catch just a sprinkle of it, it may help. A bit. For awhile at least.

Reads like some depersonalisation experience simultaneously occurring alongside a global derealisation programme kind of nightmare .. Nevertheless I found it compelling .. Neville
