Is it a game

It’s a different kind of loss
But yet you ache the same
Tears pour, heart hurts
It’s like a losing game 

You wasn’t playing
Yet game over,  you was played
The winner takes it all, the fun begins to fade

Deceit and rejection 
Bring anger to the boil
I don’t know who I loved anymore
Nothing real or loyal 

You watch me leave 
To start again, not a fight in you to save 
What we had, the love lost, I wish I was more brave

To let go of what is gone, to focus on self care
To take my energy off of you, missing you I can not bare 
Still raw but in time, day by day I’ll get strong 
I won’t let you destroy my heart or make me some kind of wrong
