Envy

The Venom...
Stronger than that of a piercing sword
It stings like the heat spit by the pit of hell fury
The smoke that comes with it suffocates even the innocent
Yet, it kills the heart that accommodates it...

Where is humanity? Ubuntu!
What message are we feeding the young ones?

I fear for my generational breed
For, this trend seems to outgrow wishes of excellence to each other.

I pity the bitter in heart
For, they grow grey knowing no taste of peace and affection
In your presence they grin with no shame when you excel
But come the shadows of the night,
Their blood boils with intense rage,
They plot for your downfall as if they will gain.

Compare not
And exercise humility…
