"Just Another Mistake," written by David L. Riley

"Just Another Mistake, written by David L. Riley
Time passes, as it does
No labels
Hours, years, decades
In misery
Without her
I have forgotten
I have...forgotten
Floating in a sea
The tears flow
As the skin fades
My decision
Just another mistake
In the witching hour
Darkness falls
Lips so white
Eyes so brown
Words echo in my scream
I long to see the words in my eyes
Words of connection
Only death will obide
I move forward
A tender touch
My Demon's foreshadowing a tragic end
Why must it always be this way?
My decision
Just another mistake
Should I?
My delusion
Just another mistake
If I do it would it make a difference?
Speak the words I long to hear
Cut past the wait
An echo chamber
I will fail
She will leave
She never cared
Whatever I do
Just another mistake
