Just Imagine Heaven...

What a glorious land of splendor
A place of peace, joy and glory
Where love remains and hate is not known
A place where not a single tear is sown
No ray from sun is of need
For the Lamb is the light
The King of strength and might
With sparkling pearly gates
And golden roads so magnificent
With each structure in it's celestial element
Theophany, gloried bodies roaming there
With breathtaking features, for all to stare
I long for that city so bright and fair
With exquisite beauty, which for earth is rare
A place prepared for you and I
Where heavy burdens, are finally laid down
As saints gain the portal, one by one
They each walk with a smile to receive their crown
Eternal life, our everalsting gift
Death, a foreign concept, lost in the terrestrial
For mortal has taken on immortality
Death defied, no longer do we suffer fatality
Lord we long for that blessed land
So won't you please, gently lead us by the hand
To reach your spendid city, your heavenly world
For we are tired of sin, and strife
We are fedup with the negativity of this life
And we long to be with You, for eternity
For all this world can offer is emnity
Come Lord Jesus... Come...
