For Just A Little While

For Just A Little While

Take me to the rain forest, where life lives free, in nothing but green

Let my feet feel the wet and wild, while my skin is soaked in lily vines of waterfalls

For just a little while, let me close my eyes, and you surprise, with a tender touch

A moment of a feathery fern trickling down my naked shoulders, as we whisper

I can hear the parrots call, the monkeys swing in the warmth of the beast

As my eyes are closed, I feel my thighs become anxious, for your lips upon my hips

And I can smell the azaleas as I remember them in the ruby red, the crimson shimmer

Then for just a little while, I hear the cuing of the cockatiel, as it is making love

If this is how paradise feels, then I do not want to come back, though my fingers tremble

I can eat the nectar, the sweet taste of your embrace, and we can fall together

In the arms of desire, not for just a moment, not for just a second, but for just a little while

My love will swim the water of eternal healing, and we shall be given one more chance

For just a little while
