King Richard III

King Richard III

Anyone Familiar
with the work
of Shakespeare
undoubtedly
knows theΒ
tale
Of King Richard III...

I have to believe
the Nickname for
Richard ( Dick )
was created
with King Richard III
in mind

As the story unfolds
King Richard III
attends the funeral
of King Henry VI
to Whom he hasΒ
KilledΒ
In true Dick fashion
King Richard III
during the funeral procession
tries to seduce his victim's widow
AΒ  " Lady Anne".

Oh King Richard III
You are the King of Dicks
Not even Senator Edwards
who cheated on his wife
who had cancer
canΒ  match up to yourΒ
"Dickness"...............
You are a legend to the masses

So Reader let the lesson
be learned
From this day
Forth
whenever
you come
across
a real ass
but are inΒ
an environment
where profanity
is inappropriate
Just tell the jerk
that he reminds
you of a character
called King Richard III
or Senator Edwards ( either one would suffice)
And
If he is Literate
Point will be taken

Haha, I just read "Shakespeare," and instantly liked! This is my favourite poem yet.
