Poem -

Let Nature Be Whole Again

Let nature be whole again

Let not machine nor man intrude

The simple beauty that it thine

Within your bosom doth you hide

The purest form of love and hope,

Though destruction may reside,

Outside these walls doth evil grope

Let again not one be wasted

No beast, nor fish, nor fowl

Let not life be torn in vain

To lay and rot to fertile soil

Let once again the sun shine down

On trees with thriving leaves

Instead of concrete “paradise”

And a broken glass beach

Let not again the eagle choke

In a pollution-colored horizon

And let not the turtle eat

The plastic bags of years gone by

Let not a soul fall to the ground

Or lose his precious home

Due to selfish human vanity

Wherever they may rome
