Letter from Santa Claus

Received a letter from Santa Claus today.
It says "My sleigh is stuck up Finland way.
There's been a lot of snow
And Rudolf's on go slow.
He won't lead until he gets more pay.

Says he wants more carrots everyday,
And all that people give him on the way;
Says I'd be really mean
To him and all the team.
If I don’t pay them more here's where they'll stay.

Your children won't get presents at all;
You will have to face their wrawl and gall
If, like poor children do,
They have to suffer too:
That I guess would drive you up the wall!"

Received a call from Santa Claus this evening
To say that very soon they could be leaving -
Pay eight carrots per day
And we'll be on our way",
To which I said "O K - so get weaving!"
