"I'm letting you go,
I hope you fly,
streaks of,
mirrored sunshine,
through the midnight sky,
because together,
we always get worse,
and never better.

It's not just your fault,
and neither is it all mine,
we were both culprits,
in this loving crime.

So toxic...
I'll make the decision for us,
the hardest of my life,
because I so wanted you,
to be my wife,
and us have beautiful kids,
that laughed,
at all the dumb,
goofy stuff we did.

Maybe it was the drugs,
maybe the inner pain,
but we will both die,
if things don't change,
and the world needs you,
so open up,
for Goodness's Sake!
Lord this is almost,
too much for me to take...

Tears and heartache,
litter every word and line,
because I needed her,
to forever be mine,
but that must not,
be in Your Plan,
and I'm trying hard,
to keep faith and understand,
and hold out,
until the morning,
because I wanna,
see the sunrise.
Yea I'll do that,
I'll wait for the morning,
but I won't be alone,
Jesus lives in,
these once dry bones,
and I will be still,
and accept what I feel,
because she won't be coming home,
and I have to accept,
that that has to be real."
