Life in the Time of Corona #2

Life in the Time of Corona #2

A cold wind from the east is making me shiver
A van draws up, a prescription to deliver
Folks say hello, it's the friendly village way
The breeze through the apple tree is making it sway

The daisies are quivering, all covering the grass
There's an old boy in shorts who is polishing his glass
A large stick blocks my path, discarded by some dog
In a tree, a pair of blue tits are having a snog

There's a lot going on if you take the time to stare
These days, of our surroundings we are all more aware
