Like a Scorpion

Like a Scorpion

Like a scorpionĀ
I can pierce into you
And your skin will bleed
so sadly you’ll be stuck
I can poison like a scorpion becauseĀ
you used to do it too

I’ll open up more , open youĀ
leave that door
Now, tell me what scares you,Ā
who hurt you?
I can see your eyes prick,
and now I’m the only girl you’ll everĀ
need

Ill move more , slow yet calculatedĀ
the tools of earths sand making my surface something sinkable,Ā
with my stinging telson. I can sprint away ,while you lay paralysed.
It’s pathetic. Ā I come closer to your poor ears and whisper,
ā€˜I can poison like a scorpion becauseĀ
you used to do it too,’
