Like a Scorpion

Like a Scorpion

Like a scorpion
I can pierce into you
And your skin will bleed
so sadly you’ll be stuck
I can poison like a scorpion because
you used to do it too

I’ll open up more , open you
leave that door
Now, tell me what scares you,
who hurt you?
I can see your eyes prick,
and now I’m the only girl you’ll ever
need

Ill move more , slow yet calculated
the tools of earths sand making my surface something sinkable,
with my stinging telson. I can sprint away ,while you lay paralysed.
It’s pathetic.  I come closer to your poor ears and whisper,
‘I can poison like a scorpion because
you used to do it too,’
