As I see the tears well in your gaze.
I canβt face,
This feeling that youβll just replace β me and all the memories that weβve made.
Guess I should have known that Iβm a phase.
You canβt wait,
To ease your back from all the weight β to punish me for the habits you hate.
Listing all the reasons it this way.
You have changed,
I wish I could have been there from the start β wish I Β could have addressed you at the heart.
But I shut the door and you fell apart.
Itβs too late.
Just go and forget the picture of my face β Let I know now - I need my cage.
I hope that youβll just leave me to waste away.
Between the distractions and confusions.
The setbacks and diffusions β in my mind β through the illusion.
Iβm sorry.
That I didnβt see you.

My goodness Max, the sadness weighted through this write forces the reader to feel Β that lingering remorse you so dutifully penned here. It is in falling that we learn about who we are in the minds of others. It doesnβt always reflect the person we whole heartedly wish we could be. And it is in our losses that we discover what true value means. I felt that all here in this emotional write. So very well penned x
Hi Gwen. Sorry I missed your comment. Yes this one was a very emotional write. To be honest it came at a time that my mind was telling myself my heart didn't like to hear. If that makes any sense.
