Living for the weekend

Living for the weekend

Monday morning, feel like I could cry,
Another weekend has passed me by
Tuesday comes, a cleaning race
The mess from the weekend I just couldn't face
Wednesday lands, my head goes thump
A glass of wine to get me over the hump
Thursdays here, I can finally speak
Now I'm on the right side of the week
Friday at last, I'm coming to life
Forget the week's trouble and strife
Saturday finally, hip hip hooray
So many ways I could spend my day
Sunday again, feeling sorrow
Back to work, Monday tomorrow

You're rhyming away your life!! Much like everybody else, really...

Nice bit of poetic observational comedy.

I know it's so sad isn't it ?
It's so true though. I think we can all relate to this! x
