Longing For Love

Ancient time of wonder, and the mystery of mankind, I find myself in longing
For my soul mate, my every tear of anguish, of time lost, and fading age
My skin is smooth, and it longs for touch, it is bronze in the morning dew
I find my thoughts go rapid, for I hear the beating of the native drum, it sings to me
Love is the spirit of dreaming, it is the spirit of giving, and I need that feeling
With you, I shall climb the tallest of mountains, I shall ride the longest of miles
And I shall feel your chest against mine, as we climb inside the gallant of risk
The sound of the leaves carrying me, into the bed of a warm feathered pillow, made with fur pelt
And the whisper of your kiss, the chant of the moon, and the cry of the wolf
I shall lay upon your lap, and you shall suckle my every need, and we will become one
In the long for love, in the summers heat, and in the winters cold, I shall fall asleep
Knowing you are there, beside my feet, and the riches of the soil will make us complete
