Lost in the Valley

An arrowhead once sharp by the strength of rock
Now dusty and dull of long past memories
A long time ago I spread my eagles wings across this land
The hollow of the trees whistles our song
Raven speaks truth perched overlooking dry bones
The valley tells a story it keeps no secrets
Shared by many owned by few, though love remains
The bronze of her eyes, the bare of her back, the silk of her mane
Singing the mocking bird flickers to my hearts drum
It beats to the pounding of the wild stallions hooves
A kiss sparking diamond embedded in my head
Where our first sip of water shared by pursed lips
Dripping down our chin down to our breasts
Love never fades it just gets lost, in the big valley
Like two gold nuggets searching to be found
Lay with me on the earths carpet of grass as we roll in a bed of the enchanted
Lost in the valley of loves native rich passion
