Love Sonnet No 1

Love Sonnet No 1

Love, be that what makes a heart spritely dance
To orchestrate a sweet chamber of strings
Where hopeful gaze projects a doting glance
With wishful dreams, that makes the soul have wings
For love can bend and bind two hearts as one
As gentle as a welcome summer breeze
That warms the cockles, and chariots the sun
To guide its rays, which bloom the weariest trees
Love, forever endeavours to be kind
Subliminal in nature where it reigns
It resonates in both heart and mind
Dissolving any doubt that causes pains
Like rain washes away the dirt and grime
So love can cleanse and heal wounds over time

Gwen I believe The Great Bard would tip you the wink if he were to read this.
In a poetry nutshell...Beautiful from beginning to end and your closing line is divine and to die for, the poetic icing on the cake.
I can't say your writing goes from strength to strength for that would be falsity, for it has always been strong no matter what you choose to write about and so graciously share here.
You are the complete poet and poet's poet for when you deliver something new we know it'll be good read.
Thanks Gwen for sharing your poetry gift and not forgetting your artistic one too.x.

The fish of the sea

Hi Gwen, just a quick one from me (XD sorry I`m on a work break), I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the poetic undertones in this one, especially through the lines;

That warms the cockles, and chariots the sun
To guide its rays, which bloom the weariest trees

You always handle your writing with such professionalism in your crafting and unique style. I look forward to catching up more on your work. I hope you are well my friend, sincerely, Max
