Love"s pain

In morning wake from silent sleep
let dreams forgotten come to peek
and words which break a silent seal
of terror deep beyond my will
a love so pure that soon was broken
and loves own words 
that could not be spoken
the lie that broke a thousand wishes
and lots of days i missed those kisses
and passion lost in words unkind
and cruel lies spread were undefined
she spoke of me and how we lived
and all the love
that you had missed
and she could make your dreams come true
yet I am bitter over you
her picture painted a sordid tale
of unhappy times
and words so vile
the pillow talk which gave such secrets
of my life and how we lived
a lie caught in so many webs
that spun so deep without the threads
in selfish gain, you stole my love
and ruined everything I had
my trust in you with words unspoken
a bond we had
that was never broken
but now is shattered on the floor
like broken glass
an unhealed sore
but still, I love you 
and forgive your act
in just one breath I would take you back
I cannot change this altered path
or challenge new love or its wrath
but simple words I have to say
I love you love
oh won't you stay.
