The Magical Blue Frog
A stormy night and all the trees blowing, Â while the ponds fill high
The trees drowning out the light, but by daylight all was calm
One small tiny frog it be, lay on his side frightened by the night
His family gathered by his side, but feared he would not stay alive
Then suddenly, magically, a strange thing, a bright and colorful blue so bright
A frog that had golden eyes, and a tongue not afraid to say, I will save your babe!
Laying down upon his side, next to the little frog, he cuddled him so ever tight
And spoke about the difference of families, and how we judge no other different
Making sure he was warm, he gave up his tongue, and wrapped it around his head
Amazed by such a sight, not sure if this was really right?
Though magic struck this little one, and soon he started to breathe
The magical blue frog was now surely a king
They hopped around, and made laughter, and joy to the living pond
For a new day began, and no other but the blue frog, so different, he would win
This gallant, most marveled miracle, and though he could never speak again
The love of one another would never be the same
