- MARCH MYTHS: DAY 10,
- WILLIAMSJI MAVELI WRITES,Â
- "BETWEEN THE HOURS OF MID-NIGHT"
______________________________
- Â Between the hours of mid-night,
- I felt your love inclined over my shoulders,
- watery as the pure lotus leaf,
- Smooth-skinned, with lips made to bite,
- Â blushing and too warm for white,
- But perfect-colored without white or red.
- And her lips opened amorously, and said—
- I wish not what, saving one word—Delight.
- And all her lips were nectar to my lips,
- And all her body meadow to my eyes;
- long arms stretched, fingers emerge like flames,
- The trembling flanks, hair smelling of fragrance,
- Â glittering eyelids expose soul's desire.
