Memories

and how i'm no longer whole

Memories

You are going to start dating,
               That memory of me fading.
Part of me swells with sorry for the fact your happiness isn’t my job,
Because for you my heart still throbs.
The other half of me is excited for you,
Because your love for someone will anew.
The memories will never be forgotten,
Only merely placed in the closet for future use, or maybe to rotten.
Not everything ages well,
But at this moment who are we to tell?
For the future comes even if we don’t want it,
Time passes and future doesn’t allow us to quit.
Eventually we may look back on these times and laugh,
Until that day, I feel as I’m going to remain… in half
