Midnight

Midnight

Dark crescents, in both sky and face
Finding what they hold, that’s a cold case
Letting anything and everything disappear without a trace
Hiding facts you wish you could erase
Don’t even bother giving chase
Destroying things you cannot replace
Don’t feel bad, it doesn’t mean you’re a disgrace
Stop trying to race
Dark of night his many wonders
And yes that often makes you ponder
But stop right now before you wander
The dark of night hides many things darker
