Mintus Humbugus

Mint Humbugs on my table

While I wrote my words of wit;

Snake entered, saw my poem

And stated his thoughts of it.

*

You're full of your sweets", he said.

I thought this quite a rum thing,

And so replied some ripe retort -

"At least I'm full of something!"
