Miscommunication

Miscommunication

Laugh, talk, interaction
It’s difficult when you ignore me
Talking to a wall, talking to myself
Talking to you.
To share a laugh, to share a thought
But you aren’t there, even though I see you’re there.
When I describe you, I describe something warm and close
When I talk about you, I show pride, but
I see you and show you and you turn away
Disassociation
A miscommunication
It feels like a misconception
But wait
Suddenly words,
From your mouth, and it’s all there Β
The moment that it should all be
The description that is described
No one there to see
As you talk to your friends
You close me off, pretend you didn’t see
The connection I thought we had ends.
