"Moment By Moment"

"Can you yet see,
past the world's facade,
and put all your faith,
in A Loving God?

I'll admit the devil,
has some convincing distractions.
I see just how many now,
joining The Light Side Faction.

Those drugs were the worst!
They kept me,
in utter disrepair,
and I started to believe God,
wasn't there,
and if He was,
He certainly didn't care.

I played the victim,
awfully well,
and that helped,
keep me on the pathway,
leading straight to Hell,
but now,
I hold myself accountable,
for what I have done,
it was my fault,
and mine alone,
for not following God's Son,
but I am not my past,
I choose to live for today,
becuase I know in my heart,
if there is a will,
there is certainly a way.

So let us praise Jesus,
in the present,
because that's all we have,
and I promise if you,
will keep living,
present moment,
by moment,
you'll see it's not that bad!"
