Monsters within

Monsters within

She held emptiness within,
They diagnosed her psychotic.

She wasn't though.
She had just seen what they could not.

The monsters within them,
raging to be set free.

Most don't allow others to see their true self,
Most don't see it them-self

But someone showed her,
In the darkest way known.

Causing her to release her own,
they gave her darkness,
More than you could bare

Taking all the light,
And her last saving grace.

They had their own monsters too,
Those that hid deep within,
And the ones right beside them.

The only difference was,
she allowed them to be shown.
