Moth To A Flame

Moth To A Flame

Like a moth to a flame
Pulling in by the fire
Tugging forward
Overpowered
by flames of desire

The flame burns brightly
The moth circles and chants
Around and around they go
Backing off they can’t

Drawn to the motion
The shadows and the heat
The moth dives deeply
Their ends do they meet

Wishing not to burn up
Yet there is no resistance
No mere human
can stand in the fire
And not be consumed
By this passionate existence

You are so very kind. Thank you. I am so very glad that you can see this....as it was meant.

Your words...touch me. Always.
