Poem -

Mother Sun

As the light fails

And the darkness begins

I am so thankful

That the world still spins

And as I gaze

Into a moonless night

I see a ocean of stars

Both faint and bright

Many like ours

With planets of life

There are so many

I know I am right

Like all other stars

That have come before

 All bright and warm

Illuminating for many

And enlightening to some

Let's give a small thanks

To our mother Sun
