Motherless

How it feels to have no mom
Knowing that she existÂ
Just not in your life
Knowing that she's capable of loveÂ
But just don't care
Why give birth to children just to hurt them
Why lay down and make the baby if deep inside you know your crazy
I didn't ask to be born
And a lot of the times I wish I never was
Who would want to be born into a life that was already torn
Where the love wasn't there only pain and anger
No mom some what dad that are both strangers
I have one or two good memories of feeling like I had a momÂ
Memories of really being a kidÂ
But there starting to fade away because my life is moving alongÂ
And letting go of my past is the only way I can remain strong
My dad was there but he wasn'tÂ
I pushed away from him because he couldn't save me through my hardest timesÂ
Letters, cards and pop up phone callsÂ
Was the only way he could be in our livesÂ
It wasn't enough I needed him physically here at basketball games, open house, county fairsÂ
Everyone else had a mom a dad or even both and it just didn't seem fairÂ
I only called him my dad because he showed signs that he cared
I forgave him for his mistakes and for not being here
Yet it's still hard to exceptÂ
Being left alone to fight adult battles at a young age
He probably doesn't even know who my mother becameÂ
Or that she was abusive and evil
Or that his mistakes became are nightmaresÂ
He could have saved usÂ
From not having a mom
Just a mother in pain that she passed on to her children that "never should have been born"
In her words
A mother isn't a momÂ
Just a woman who gives birthÂ
Gifts from the man above he gave her a second chance at receiving unconditional loveÂ
And she blew it, we love her only under the condition that she's are mother

Hello Chelessa...
Sometimes, when mother's walk away it's a blessing in disguise...
The pain of rejection is passed down to the children...
When a Mother walks away and a Dad doesn't know how to be a Dad himself...
When I didn't have my Mom or Dad to talk to at times...
There are good people in the path of life...
Some may be childless and would love nothing more than to share and feel themselves the love that is unconditional and feels good to give love and advice...
The good kind not the twisted kind...
There's elderly people alone who would enjoy company over tea...
Some have fear because of their vulnerability, so if you see an elderly person sitting outside...
Be gentle and be kind...
Most times you feel happy and they wouldn't mind being called Mom, Dad, Grandma or Grandpa after they begin to know you after awhile...
When their sad, lonely anything...
You would fight to death to make sure no one hurts them...
Those are your folks...
I would fight to the death if I had to for my children...
There was a kidnapping attempt on my son...
I was there and ready in a hurry...
He was elderly and no one had ever seen him before...
He got away...
But, he was empty handed...
Another time I was jumped and I would had my son with me, but something stopped me as I walking out the door...
I asked for someone to watch him for me for a little bit...
Ten minutes later I was jumped...
That person wore a ski mask and he got away...
I survived and my son was safe...
We don't understand everything, but I know without a doubt we are never alone even if we are...
Heart touching write!
