Poem -

My Brother, My Sister

My Brother, My Sister

My Brother, My Sister,
Are you my keeper and I yours,
Do you find home at my doors,
My Brother, My Sister
when will I see you a again,
when will you divorce that bottle of gin,
its your skin, but who’s within,
My Brother, My Sister,
You have lost your way,
the trodden path’s aftermath is written on your face,
though for me you appear to be strong and unmoved,
i see the scabs beginning to form, and soreness begins to soothe,
My Brother, My Sister
i ask once more, do you find home at my doors,
My Brother, My Sister
You're all I’ve got
And from the time I would hold bottles, to now you’re still my role model,
i hope one day the world will know about you.
