Poem -
My Dog Named "Tiger"
My childhood dog; a rescue; nothing royal,
As a puppy; so cute! he grew up loyal!
Followed me everywhere, sometimes to school,
Learned to climb our chain link fence, kind of cool!
Next door neighbor had two cats, not his friends!
Avoiding fights on his visits; were his trends.
One day; home from school, Tiger not around,
I searched the yard; but never heard a sound.
Taught him to guard the house, he was A.WOL!
Heading to the front; I began to call!
"Tiger"! " where are you"? " come home right now"!
Then, flat out running to me, I thought, Wow!
I saw behind him; the two cats he feared!
Bypassing me, one leap; the fence; he cleared!

A little cracker Jim .. I am very much a dog kinda guy .. mine is called Brulee, Bru, Bruiser, Parsley, Parsnip, Poppadom Pettitt .. Bru for short ...
ps the Bru for short is not part of her name but an abbreviation ... whereas, this ps is a deviation .............................................. N :)

Me and you and dog named Boo.
Can't recall by who but definitely an American male voice .
And like your bonnie beastie poem with a feel good beat also.
No doubt it'll keep me awake all night trying to remember who.Β
