My Friend

My friend I can read your eyes,
You are my ying as I am your yang,
I am proud to call you friend,
When things are uncertain and confused,
You give me the truth and the way back,
You are the calmness of the day,
And the protector from the night,
We celebrate life loudly,
And laugh at decorum,
But we are gentle with the world,
We are each other's haven,
