My poetry is
when you put your soul on paper
 for all the world to see
Give up your darkest secrets 
And share them all for free
Tell your story without a care
Leave your emotions all laid bare
Don’t worry about the outcome 
Or what others may start to think
Poetry is true life
Best served completely raw
No prize for composition 
As no ones keeping score 
Each new day’s, a new experience 
Another story to be told 
You never know what’s coming 
As you watch it all unfold 
Sometimes it pulls your heartstrings 
With every word you write 
But it needs to all be written 
To explain your inner plight
The sense of relief you get 
When your story s finally told
Release’s your anxiety s
A reward for being bold
