Descent

Free fall
All my life
Nothing to keep me grounded
Catch me, as I plummet
Though you're never there
Beyond reach
Your hand was all I asked for
I find that I'm still falling
You catch me, you let me go
When it best suits you
I piss you off and you shove me
Over the edge again
Maybe I'll take you down with me
Maybe then you'll finally understand
How it is to be me
Maybe then you'll feel the fear
Your stomach dropping
Your cries swallowed up
By the rushing darkness
That is your descent
Into a void without no boundaries
Its a cold and lonely trip down
Who will save your ass
Not me darling
Are you laughing now
Welcome to my world.
