To never love, to never feel, to never touch, to never sense, to never enjoy

A branch broken, never to mend, never to sprout a new leaf, never to reach the sky

A wing broken, never to fly, never to land, the sun not to shine, no longer the warmth

To never love, for me, would be to never breathe, to never find, to never seek

Empty hearts, a flower with no smell, a bird to never break the shell, a fish to never be in water

To never feel the wet of rain, the sand below your naked feet, within the ocean crest

To never love, to never know my giving heart, my inner thoughts, my pounding heart

The passion, the pleasure, the risk, the challenge, the mountain never high

To never love, I hope that day, never comes, even in my last days in time

I will always know, that I have loved, I have lived, and I could never love without you
