Newspapers

Newspapers

Day in and day out.
What’s it all about?
Tell me stories of wounded soldiers.
And grandparents getting older.
And cancer patients dying slower.
And suburb families are getting poorer.
Everybody feels the effects.
Of what the newspaper stories projects.
But I need to take a “sec”.
And smell the roses on the patio deck.
Because my mind is going a wreck!
Yup!
