Poem -

No longer your prisoner

No longer your prisoner

You broke me down until IĀ
believed I was worth nothing
The nothingness swallowed me
Whole and held onto meĀ

Finally I escaped your prison
I was free and slowly, I picked
Myself up piece by piece until
I was somehow taller than ever was.Ā
