Goddess of love invoked

Lord Siva, who appeared

before him as Kundalini,

She is my own coiled serpent.

"Coil your body and soul around me,

Boil me in your love and lust"

Be the power for the good of this world

make me father," Shakti took birth as Parvati",

beautiful daughter of the Himavan,

Lord of the mountains, single-minded

to illustrate Lord Shiva out of his

deep cave and to make him

her own companion.
